Victoria L. Moreno
Senior Associate
Victoria Moreno represents clients in high-stakes commercial litigation in state and federal courts in a range of practice areas, including intellectual property, white collar, consumer protection, administrative law, and business litigation. She has experience in all stages of litigation, including drafting complaints and accompanying motions for preliminary injunction, handling fast-moving cases during discovery, taking and defending depositions, motion-practice, brief writing, and serving as a key member of a trial team. She was a part of the trial team that secured a landmark victory for Gilead Sciences when a federal jury sided with the pharmaceutical company against the US government in a precedent-setting patent-infringement trial. Her appellate practice includes drafting briefs for the federal courts of appeal, including the First, Fifth, Eleventh, and Federal Circuit, as well as the Supreme Court of the United States.
Prior to joining WilmerHale, she clerked for the Honorable Adalberto Jordan of the US Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. During law school, she also worked as a speech writer and policy advisor for the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office. Before law school, Ms. Moreno was a news producer for Fusion Media Network, an ABC-Univision joint venture, working alongside award-winning journalists Jorge Ramos and Alicia Menendez. Her work included coverage of the 2016 presidential election and producing two documentary series.
